Why Blogging?

Blogging has become the in thing. Everyone is doing it. I feel that as a late bloomer, I need to thank those who have paved the way for me on the blogging trail.
Why is blogging so popular?
I believe people have something to say, and can find no better way than post their ideas on the Information Super Highway (the Internet).
Why do I blog?
The truth.... I have it. I know that someone out there is looking for answers, and I am here to give it to them. Not directly, like a specific advise column, but generally. I believe that truth will be gleaned by those who read my blog.
I looked several times at my first blog (many of you I am sure remember it), but did not see many responses posted. I was a little disappointed, but then my wife (who knows a little more about the sub-culture that is the blogosphere) told me that you have to let people know you are "out there." I was not aware of this. I assumed that anyone who googled the word "truth" would come across my blog and with google being argueably the best search engine on the planet (and people constantly in search of truth), I was expecting quite a few "hits" on the blog.
It is possible that so many people found me at once that the community of truth-seekers overloaded the system. In which case, I am sure the bugs will be taken out and comments will coming in soon.
Earlier I said that this blog, while giving truth, would not be like an advise column. Let me make one clarification. I am open to topic ideas. Feel free to send in topics you feel you need my opinion on. Let me tell you, that covers just about everything from hunting and fishing to the
Panic of 1837.
This Blog is being cut short do to my wife's need to get on the computer. There is something to be learned from my willingness to put my one true passion, that is blogging, on hold to allow my wife to use her computer.

My first Blog

Wow this is what its like to type things and have billions of people around the world read what I have to say. I mean there is a lot of power in the blog. There are probably some rules that need to be followed, but the good people at blogspot .... hey wait I just realize the URL says blogger.com...never heard of it back to what I was saying "blogger.com" did not give me a does and dont's list. (this is an editorial note it seems that the website is blogspot but that I am the blogger my mistake like I said I was given not rule book)

I have to say I am a little on the nervous side. I am note a bery good spellar and sometimes loose my train of thought mid sentence.

So what do I impart to the billions of you who are reading this at this very moment. First thanks for reading my blog. I know this will soon be a part of your routine and I hope to keep you posted on my opinions and how I see the world, and in turn how I think you should see the world.

I guess that brings me to something that you should know about me and that is I see the world in two colors... really white and really black. Another point of interest is that I am a rambler. I will try not to be as much as possible, because I know your time is important.
Okay so just a few more things. My wife will proof all my blogs (except for tonights because she is asleep... does this thing have spell check). She is proud that I am blogging, but I believe she will be embarrassed by most of the things I blog about. I will try to blog as if we (myself and the billions of readers) are having a conversation. I will speak directly to you as if you were here with me. Where is here? Stay tuned. Also like most of my conversations I will monopolize the entire thing. Finally folks I want to go ahead and say that I am not trying to change the world by this blog, all though that may happen, but instead just share with you my friends how things are seen through the eyes of a Logan. Why do you care you ask, well I should ask you that after all you are reading this blog.
